How to Measure Yourself for Chickfly’s Pants and Leggings

It is important that you are able to measure yourself with ease and confidence so you can get the right fit for your Chickfly pants or leggings. The fly in Chickfly pants is a stretchy portion of fabric that goes between the legs and wraps around the hips. It must be tight, but not so tight that it doesn’t stretch when you open it. That’s why the hip measurement on Chickfly pants is so important - it needs to be the right size for your body so that the fly works properly.

Take measurements around your waist and hips with a soft tape measure. The hip measurement is the most important. Chickfly pants are made to fit comfortably yet snugly. Chickflys were designed for women but actually work well for everyone.

How to Measure the Hips on Chickfly Pants

Hips - Take your hip measurement as the circumference of the widest part of your hips. This may be at your hip bone, or lower if you have a curvaceous booty. Use this "Low Hip" measurement at your widest point as your guide. Take several hip measurements with a loose tape and choose the widest one. If you have a big booty, use only the hip size measurement. The waist will adjust because it is stretchy.

How to Measure the Waist on Chickfly Pants

Waist - You will want to measure the circumference of your waist at the narrowest part above your belly button and below your breasts. Stand in a relaxed manner and relax your gut and chest. Try measuring at multiple points up and down your waist with a loose tape measure to find the narrowest point. This is your waist measurement. If you’re pear- or hourglass-shaped, your natural waist should be pretty easy to find. If you’re apple-shaped or banana-shaped or carry a good deal of your weight around your waist, though, it may be a bit harder to locate, and may actually be larger than your hip measurement. If your waist is bigger than your hips, use your hip size as your guide.

These lightly used Chickfly leggings are customer returns or have been worn by our models. They have been tried on, maybe worn for a short time, and then returned. Many of them have lint or pet hair from laying around in someone's room. We have inspected them all for stains and other permanent damage and they are in good condition. We recommend washing them when they arrive.

The fly has a serged edge (like the merino leggings) with a slight wave that gives it a hint of a ruffle along the bum. It does not have added elastic like the original bamboo pants and leggings, and thus it is looser. This jumpsuit's pant legs are straight and fit perfectly over your favorite pair of fashionable boots or high heels.

Chickfly's Butter Onesie is made with soft, strong, stretchy, and sustainable bamboo fabric, colored with organic dyes. It contains 8% added spandex for stretch and shape retention. The bamboo fabric is breathable, wicking, colorfast, and odor resistant.
